The instant
No send button. No app to open.
ClipPair sits in your tray and menu bar. You never open it. You just paste.
Images too
Screenshots included.
Snip part of your screen on Windows and paste it on your Mac. Copied photos and images come across the same way text does.
Every computer
One copy. All your computers.
Pair them once with six words. Every copy lands on every one of them together.
You copy something on one computer. You turn to the other one and press paste. It's already there. No upload, no account, no app to open, and nothing in between.
Privacy
Your network.Nobody else's.
ClipPair finds your computers on your own network and talks to them directly, encrypted end to end. Your clipboard never passes through a server, and it's never stored anywhere but your own computers.
Stays on your network
- Everything you copy, text and images
- Clipboard history, if you turn it on
- Your six pairing words, kept only in your computer's secure credential store and never sent anywhere
- Computer names and groups
Copies go from computer to computer over your own network, encrypted end to end. No server ever holds them, so there is nothing to leak, subpoena or sell.
Goes online, never your clipboard
License
- Your license key
- A public key for each licensed computer
- The ClipPair version, when you activate
Once to activate, then a quiet check-in about once a week. Computers that join send nothing to the license server.
Update checks
- A small signed update file, at launch and about once a day
- No key, no device ID
Turn it off in Settings with “Check for updates automatically”.
License and update checks go online. Your clipboard never does. Read the security model → · Privacy policy →

On the way, no dates yet: LinuxiPhoneAndroid
Built with the people who use it. ClipPair is made by one developer, and what it does next comes from you. Every message is read.
Send feedbackDoes it work with iPhone, Android or Linux?
Not yet. ClipPair is for Windows and Mac today. Linux, iPhone and Android versions are on the way, with no dates yet. On phones, Apple and Google don't let apps read the clipboard in the background, so those versions will work a little differently from the desktop.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once. Activation needs the internet once, and ClipPair quietly renews its license about once a week. Your clipboard is never part of that.
How many computers does one purchase cover?
All of them. Put your license key on up to 3 of your computers; every other computer joins one of those for free, with no key to type.
Does my clipboard go through the internet?
No. Copies go straight between your computers on your own network, encrypted end to end. There's no server in the middle and no account.
What if it doesn't work on my network?
Some guest, hotel and office networks stop computers from seeing each other. If ClipPair doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days. No questions asked.
Does it copy images and files?
Text and images, including screenshots and copied photos. Files aren't synced.
